So.......

....I'm home. I can't get my wireless to connect. I'm posting this with my phone, and that's already getting old.

*sigh*

I'm both happy (because I'm freaking exhausted) and sad (because I'm worried about Mimi!) to be home. I know my dad will be there with her, and he'll do his best and she'll be fine...but I wish I could have stayed with her at least another week.

My 15 year old nephew Nick spent the weekend with us, and he not only was a big help to me, but he provided much needed comic relief. He deserves a post all his own, so as soon as I get back online (son of a bitch!) for real, I'll do just that.

I am crashing early tonight --- but not before the Emmy's! Its all about the red carpet ya know :)

15 Ramble on, y'all....:

Glad you're back home.

The Emmy's are off to a rather slow start.

Hope you figure out your wireless!

Awww. I'm sure Mimi will be fine. I'm glad you're home. Try unplugging and then re-plugging the router - sometimes ours goes "out of sync" with the modem and needs a reboot of sorts for me to access the wireless.

Thanks, guys....

I've tried all the plugging, unplugging, and resetting that I know how to do...plus I threw a big ole hissy fit and THAT, surprisingly, didn't work either.

Thhhpppttt.

Poppa will take good care of Mimi. Our little Nick....'memba this line....."What do you want you sorry fat whores?"

I still laugh to this day thinking about him and that line.

Welcome home. Hmmmm... you tried the plugging and unplugging and the hissy fit... I would personally try breaking something. It doesn't really help, but it's sort of fun.

When all else fails, kick it!

Hey....have you tried unplugging it???? (LOLOLOL)

Is this YOUR wireless or are you stealing it from one of your neighbors?? If you're stealing it...politely ask them for their password...and if its a guy, wear a wife-beater, braless of course, when askin. Believe me, you'll be set ;)

'Emmys'....nope...reruns of 'House'...yes.

Glad your back.....honey ;)

You can always call tech support for your internet provider. If you're like me, you'll get stuck talking with someone in Bangladesh, who - even though they are nice as can be - knows less about computers than you, but somehow makes a living reading scripts in broken english all day long.

Welcome home !!! Don't worry about Mimi, she'll be fine. Did you try a system restore?

UPDATE: My super-awesome IT friend stopped by to see me at work today, so I roped him into coming over and fixing whatever it is. When I described the problem he said "Oh sure, all you have to do is *mwah mwah--insert Charlie Brown's teacher here--mwah mwah* and I can fix that up no problem."

Sweet!

SEE!!!! I told ya that 'braless wife-beater' would do the trick (hehe...'trick')

AND...WTF...is 'she' really 'done'? Geez....she's related to you, ya know, and what she does (or doesn't do) is a direct reflection....just sayin.
