I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I, too lost a follower just yesterday, and like you, I have no idea who it was, nor what went wrong.
Did I fail to entertain? Did I simply not provide enough outrage for that person or bot's needs?
It is the not knowing that hurts.

I had three people unfollow me on Twitter the other day. I have no idea why.
That happened to me too. I finally figured it out (a guy who had deleted his blog completely), but since then, I have a written list, so I will KNOW if someone unfollows me and I will hunt them down (not really), but at least I will know who it is! LOL.
